About Niall
- Cambridge Master of Law.
- Trinity College Dublin: Ranked 2nd overall, 1st in penultimate year exams, awarded best final year research dissertation.
- Taught debating and argumentation to undergrads and schoolkids.
- My core belief is that law school leaves students out to dry far too often. They receive much too little advice on writing essays or answering problem/exam questions. If I had not gone into law, I would have become a teacher. My tutoring combines my passion for teaching and my expertise in answer-writing.

- Send me a draft, or a completed essay.
- I email you feedback. My feedback is given in detailed, written sections. The first three sections outline the key elements of a first-class essay. Section [1] gives an overview of what an essay aims to do. Section [2] delves into what an essay does not aim to do. Section [3] introduces the single most important thing to achieving a first-class grade – signposting. The following sections take those elements, and apply them directly to your assignment.
- For example, if your introduction needed improvement, I would (i) clearly explain the issue with the introduction, (ii) send you an example of an introduction I have written in the past for contrast, (iii) rewrite a portion of your introduction to demonstrate what change needs to be made.
- Anything else you want me to do, just ask.
- Review from a Financial Services Law and Regulation student: 'The feedback was excellent, thank you... I went through your essay writing tips and found them extremely helpful. You put a lot of work into your grinds... your essay writing tips have helped me so much.'
