About Sophie
Hi, I'm Sophie!
I am currently studying at the University of Cambridge, where I am doing an undergraduate degree in Linguistics. As part of my degree, I am taking Psychology modules this year.
I did Psychology, French and Philosophy for A-levels, and also an EPQ focusing on Autism.
My main goals as a tutor are to inspire confidence, and to support each student so that they don't feel afraid to tackle the more challenging content as part of the course. I take individual needs and goals into account, whilst also focusing on understanding the course more generally, and exam preparation. I hope to encourage each student to achieve the best grade that they possibly can, and to tackle any exam nerves as well!

My approach to tutoring is focusing on the needs of each individual pupil, and supporting them with whatever they need the most help with. We will set some goals for the pupil, and also work towards them together.
The lessons are 1 hour long.
Suitable for anyone aged 8-18.
I mainly support with A-level and GCSE, but I can help at an earlier point to get a secure foundation in preparation for GCSEs, and I can help with French and Religious studies at any level from GCSE and below.
