About Talia
I am a second year Medical student at Cambridge University, and I did English, Maths, Chemistry and Biology for A-level. I helped tutor year 8 maths students at my school, and year 7's as part of a Cambridge access programme which was aimed at students who may not have considered university before.

I'm 20, and having achieved highly at school and finished my first and second years at Cambridge with 2:1s I hope to help other students of any ability to do their best academically. I'm not a totally academic person though, playing multiple sports throughout school and at University, particularly lacrosse for the University 1st team. I think that students learn better when they don't think that "doing well" is purely due to being smart - it's usually easiest to do well when you find an interest in your subject, and that's something I hope to instil in my students. I'm also friendly and do not have a "tough" approach, as that's often the reason why people struggle at school.
