About Chris
I was born and raised in Japan to a Chilean mom and Japanese/American dad. I've lived in Japan, USA, and now in lovely New Zealand with my family. I've traveled all over the world and I've learned how language is so important to understand a culture. It opens a new world into that culture. I love helping others and teaching (I coach 2 soccer teams!) and hope that I can help others with their language education.

I take a 1:1 approach and can do it in person or online. My sessions are usually about 45 minutes.
I've tutored in Los Angeles and Tokyo and I take a student led approach. It is about the student and what they want to learn or get better at and we structure the session based on that.
It most definitely is not about doing the same exercise over and over but more fluid, casual, and fun!
