About Alex
I attended Eastbourne College taking A Levels in History, Politics and Drama receiving A, A, A. I also did an EPQ achieving an A. At GCSE I took History (9), Drama (9), Dance (9), Spanish (8), English Literature (8), English Language (8), Double science (7,8), Maths (7), Latin (7). Next year, I’m hoping to study History at University with the intention of eventually teaching History. I have previously tutored Latin, French and Spanish but I’m hoping to get more experience.

I am happy to teach the majority of areas of History but I have the most knowledge in the topics: WW2, Cold War, Vietnam War, China, Stuart Britain 1603-1702, US Civil War 1820s-1860s, US Civil Rights Movement. Can help any age including but not limited to Common Entrance and GCSE pupils. One of the most important skills to master to achieve top grades in History is essay writing, therefore, there would be a focus on essay technique and working on essay plans. I am similarly able to help with effective revision techniques to form the knowledge and understanding required within the essays. If you are looking for A Level assistance I am happy to help with any areas including coursework.

Alex is my niece and I knew she had tutored several students in the last year for GCSE and common entrance exams. I asked her to help my 15 year old daughter with her Spanish over the holidays.
