About Charlotte
Stepping into your first session feels a bit like walking into a new workshop. I admit that I value the messy process of learning a solo more than the final polished result. We explore rhythm guitar and improvisation using a structured format that helps hobbyists grow.
Whether you are a kid or an advanced learner, I adjust my pace to fit your unique style. I hold a Master of Music in Vocal Studies which helps me explain how to listen to the fretboard with intent. Our time together includes a monthly recorded review of progress to keep you on track. You get to see exactly how your scales and modes develop over time.
We work on the details without losing the fun of playing blues or pop songs. I prefer to keep things grounded in real musical application. The improvement happens as we just keep playing.

The faint smell of rosin and old sheet music always reminds me of the practice rooms at the Royal Academy of Music. I carry a Master of Music in Vocal Studies into my guitar room because rhythm remains the core of all music. My teaching character is rooted in 13 years of experience and a playful spirit. I have guided 369 students through the nuances of electric and acoustic technique.
Sometimes I find myself humming along while a student struggles with a tricky fingerpicking pattern. Songwriting is a secret hobby of mine that I enjoy sharing during quiet moments. Reading tabs should feel like reading a map rather than a foreign language. I break down lead guitar and scales into bite-sized pieces for self-taught players.
My focus remains on keeping the process human and relatable. I promise we will keep the technical drills feeling light and manageable.
