About Marissa
Graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies from Trinity Laban Conservatoire established my foundational understanding of complex musical theory. My 13 years of experience have been dedicated to honing technique while keeping the core experience of music enjoyable for all my students.
I work with adults, kids, and intermediate learners to navigate the nuances of the fretboard. Music has been the central pillar of my life since my childhood days.
My teaching style remains precise and structured to ensure that every student can track their own development over time. Whether we are working on electric technique or reading sheet music, I stay focused on the specific goals of the person sitting across from me. Having taught 71 students, I have learned how to communicate difficult concepts through simple and logical steps. I want to help you reach a place where your instrument feels like a natural extension of your own musical voice.

These lessons incorporate reading tabs and standard sheet music to build your overall literacy on the guitar. My degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire ensures that we address the mechanics of your playing with high attention to detail.
We spend time building speed and clarity for lead guitar work while maintaining a relaxed posture. Grade exam prep is available for those who want to measure their progress against established benchmarks.
