About Chris
I am a highly skilled professional caricaturist and illustrator, with over 20 years’
experience. I graduated from West Herts College with a degree in Illustration. I pride myself on my ability to produce high quality bespoke caricatures and illustration work, designed to the clients own specifications on an affordable budget. I am also experienced at delivering talks, demonstrations and workshops, specialising in The Art of Caricature.
2018 I recently exhibited at The Blackpool Solarium with my ‘Icons” pieces.
The exhibition featured caricatures of popular culture such as Rolling Stone, Keith Richards
and the celebrated cook Mary Berry.

About the lesson

I pride myself on delivering highly entertaining and informative tuition. I am methodical in my preparation and spend a great deal of time devising a sylabus. My approach is very hands on, I discuss caricature theory, spending time demonstrating producing a live caricature of someone in the group, before letting the students loose on an unsuspecting subject. I am always on hand to provide a little advice along the way. At the end of each session the group would display their work and we would discuss the results. I have a light hearted approach, but I do take my art seriously and relish the opportunity to share my skills and experience with others.
