About LATHA
I am an enthusiastic educator with an MSc in Chemistry and a lifelong passion for Carnatic music and cultural teaching.
Because of my science background, I teach music logically—breaking down rhythm and pitch in a simple, step-by-step way that makes sense to beginners. My teaching style is warm, friendly, and patient. I believe anyone can learn to sing beautifully in a supportive environment, and I love helping my students grow in confidence!

I offer clear, patient, and engaging lessons tailored to two distinct groups:
For Kids (Music & Balavikas): We blend foundational Carnatic music (Sarali Varisais) with devotional Bhajans, Slokas, and moral stories. Lessons are designed to be fun, building cultural roots and confidence.
For Adults (Beginner Carnatic): We focus on voice culture, pitch perfection (Sruti), and understanding the structure of Talas and Ragas. We pace everything comfortably around your busy schedule.
Lessons are interactive, supportive, and focused on helping you sing with confidence!
