About Agnès
I grew up helping in my family’s business - a chambres d’hôte, giving me the opportunity to meet a wide range of people from different backgrounds and nationalities, so I feel comfortable dealing with people and more importantly, I am used to putting people at ease. I am determined, sociable and kind - qualities that I believe an English teacher must possess.
I enjoy meeting new students, discovering how they learn best and curating my lessons according to their interests and goals and watching them progress and build confidence throughout.

I teach fun and engaging lessons - spanning from fluency and the correct use of the English language to creativeness, reading and writing - while focusing on my student's goals.
Although I am flexible, I have found that 50-minute classes are best for focus and involvement. I have taught both large, small and one-to-one classes. Most recently I have been a freelance teacher for Kreativ English as well as Adventures In English in Austria. I taught immersive English courses to students from 8 to 16 years old. These classes mingle language teaching with creative writing and in so doing create a proactive learning environment.
I also taught a group of French trainees for a business that was opening up a new international branch. This experience inspired me to teach and seek the qualifications to do so at a higher level, hence undertaking the CELTA course.
