About Lisa
Hi! I’m an enthusiastic and friendly CELTA-certified English Language teacher with an M.A in Writing and a B.A Hons Degree in English, Media and Cultural Studies. I’ve been teaching EFL and Creative Writing since 2012 and have worked with students of all ages (2years - 75 years!). I lived and taught English in Northern Spain for three years (in private academies and public school settings) and have a B2 level of Spanish. Here in Dublin I have taught General, Exam and Business English to a range of nationalities.
I’m currently facilitating an online creative writing course for adults with additional needs.

I offer General, Business and Exam Preparation classes and cover the following areas:

- skills (receptive and productive: listening/reading/speaking/writing)
- exam preparation
- grammar
I use age-appropriate material mixing authentic resources (newspapers/songs/TV shows) with online resources (OneStopEnglish/Linguahouse etc) and official EL Cambridge and Oxford publications (Official Guide to IELTS/English File/Listening Extra etc).
All of my classes are tailored to the specific wants and needs of the student. We can have a “getting to know you” class to assess which avenue is best for you.
