About Michelle
My desire to teach stems from a lack of kind, caring teachers during my difficult adolescence. I would like to be the tutor who inspires the students and enables them to achieve their best no matter the starting point. Every student has a right to a good education and the opportunity to succeed. I would like to help them achieve that success.

The first lesson will typically be a test to ascertain your level. The following lessons will be designed around your difficulties or gaps in knowledge. The lessons are really individually tailored. I teach ESOL, all levels and English Language and Literature up to GCSE. Most lessons will consist of an interactive explanation followed by work to consolidate the learning. Any problems in understanding can be worked through together and homework then given to ensure you can work independently. The homework will also be worked through in the following lesson.
