About J Michael
I'm Mike on the south coast in Bournemouth. The English language has been my passion in life and I've edited, published and written in several diverse areas before turning to teaching when I hit the (impossible!) age of 50. Yeah, I'm old but I'm still a big kid at heart.

Each and every lesson is tailored to the individual student, their interests and passions. Lots of media use, games (including Kahoot!) and fun activities make my lessons engaging and enjoyable. I'm extremely experienced and can teach online or face to face if local (Bournemouth/Poole and area). English as a Foreign Language and the UK syllabus are my two specialities. I am also experienced with SEND pupils with a particular insight into the autistic mind.
