About Kayla
I live in the beautiful Mother City, Cape Town. I love to travel as well as learn and experience other cultures. When I'm not taking my dog for a walk on the beach or lesson planning, I'm looking for places I can visit and explore.
I'm a dedicated, resourceful and a goal-driven professional educator with a commitment to the social and academic growth and development of every student. I'm an accommodating, adaptive and versatile tutor with the talent to develop hands-on lessons that will capture a learner's imagination and understanding.
Overall, I find myself to be highly motivated, driven and enthusiastic to learn more about my students and share my knowledge with them.

Hello!
I have taught more than 600 learners in class, from different backgrounds, while living in Vietnam.
I am a certified CELTA teacher and I've taught age groups 3 to 16 years old as well as adults.
I use a variety of resources such as; media, course books and worksheets. My goal is to help learners to:
Speak fluently (with confidence)
Help with pronunciation and difficult words.
Concentrate on Collocation, verbal phrases and Idioms.
To provide my learners with the skills to read, write, listen and speak.
Conversational English
I have a hands on approach to teaching my students.
The lessons are interactive and challenging.
I am dedicated, patient and committed.
