About Devanandana
I am a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer and instructor who enjoys sharing the beauty of Indian classical dance with students of all ages. I believe in creating a positive and comfortable learning environment where students can build confidence while learning strong fundamentals. My teaching style is patient, friendly, and disciplined, with focus on posture, rhythm, expressions, and graceful movements. I am dedicated to helping beginners learn step by step and develop both technical skills and appreciation for the art form through interactive and engaging online classes.

I believe that Bharatanatyam should be taught with patience, discipline, and encouragement so that students enjoy learning while building strong classical fundamentals. My teaching method focuses on step-by-step learning, starting from basic postures, adavus, mudras, rhythm, and expressions before moving to choreography and advanced techniques.
A typical class includes warm-up exercises, posture correction, practice of adavus, hand gestures, facial expressions, and revision of previously learned steps. I also guide students in maintaining proper rhythm, confidence, and stage presence.
My classes are beginner-friendly and interactive, making students feel comfortable while learning at their own pace. I teach online classes for kids, school students, college students, and adults who are interested in learning Bharatanatyam as an art form, hobby, or cultural practice.
