About Sarah
About me:
I grew up in a bilingual household in Austria, speaking in English to my mum who is from the South of England, and German to my father who is from the centre o Austria. I have always been fascinated by languages and especially by how to learn them beyond the beaten path of boring grammar classes. During the past five years I was able to become close to fluent in French and Spanish and I am currently studying Italian. With the experience, that I have in teaching and being an active language learner myself, I know exactly what it takes to create a lesson that leaves you feeling accomplished and excited for new inputs!

My classes:
My classes are directed towards adults, starting from an A1 level up to C1. I focus on communication classes, accent improvement, fluidity and expansion of vocabulary. Besides that I also give regular classes of grammar and special ones focused on business English or certificate preparation (first certificate, second certificate, etc). It is also possible to schedule online classes or phone calls. Regular classes are held at the teacher's house (Conde de Casal/ Estrella)
My work ethic:
Each and everyone of my lessons is created with heart and creativity. Why have another boring lessons about the pros and cons of school uniforms if we can talk about what YOU enjoy? Do you like the Beatles? Let's connect practising past tense with stories about the British boy band. Do you like politics? Let's read a newspaper article and pick out new vocabulary. Learning English can be fun and productive, joyful and knowledgable! My main aim is to make language learning as easy and entertaining as possible for. I am always on the look for new things, new teaching methods and inputs that will fill our classes with energy, joyfulness and, of course, knowledge.
