About Lara
I have lived and worked abroad for 8 years, so English has become my second language. In May 2019 I obtained the CELTA certification (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) which made me a full English teacher. My first experience as a teacher was in Ecuador during the course, at the end of it I embarked on a 10 month trip to South America. In Australia, where I lived for 7 years, I have always worked closely with students from all over the world. My passion is travel, I am currently studying to become an official translator for the tourism industry.

My methodology is to create practical, interesting and engaging lessons, always trying to follow the textbook but re-adapting the lessons with extra exercises and activities. For students, especially high school students, who need to practice "speaking" I always try to propose contemporary and topical topics'. I am concerned with understanding the needs of the student and I adapt to his needs.
