About Venus Mae
I'm a certified ESL and Montessori teacher with over 2 years of experience. I was an ESL Teacher for 2 years in an International School in the Philippines where I taught Korean students and professionals. I have worked with students of all ages and all levels from beginner to advance. I have also worked as a Private ESL and Montessori Tutor.
Teaching has always been my passion. As someone who has learned English as a second language, I know it can be quite challenging. However, I assure you that it can also be so much fun! So, come! Let's enjoy the journey of learning English together. :-)

I'm a certified ESL teacher with TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Certificate. I teach students of all ages and all levels from beginner to advance. Depending on the level of the student, I utilise various teaching strategies.
While teaching children, I use TPR (Total Physical Response) as much as possible. I also like to use colourful pictures, props, videos and songs to make the lessons fun for them.
For intermediate and advance students, I love to have "free-talk" where I can discuss different topics according to the student's interests and engage him/her into using the target language more often. Thus, making the learning process faster.
Therefore, in my class, a student can expect: to be engaged; to develop his/her English language skills; to receive feedback and assessments; and to enjoy and have fun while learning. :-)
