About Sheri
I returned to college the same year my son started high school to become a teacher. As an "older" student, I found that my life experiences were beneficial to my success. As a teacher, I found that student success without stress became a goal for me. I want my students to enjoy learning without drills, repitition, or worksheets, and I want them to have fun as they learn. I play games, sing songs, and have fun!

I like to make lessons fun and interactive. I am not a fan of repetitive drills or worksheets. I feel that students learn best with hands on activitties geared to their individual learning style. I have taught and tutored in grades Kindergarten to Sixth Grade. My strength is Language Arts; I am also an imaginative math teacher, using a variety of manipulatives to keep students engaged.
