About Manvee
Namaste I'm Manvee, a certified Kathak teacher from India with 6 years of formal training from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. I teach live online classes in English or Hindi for beginners, children and adults.
My teaching style is patient, friendly and easy to follow. I focus on building strong basics while helping students understand the beauty and tradition of Kathak. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where every student enjoys the journey and grows with confidence:)

Hi! I'm Manvee and I love making Kathak easy and enjoyable to learn.
My classes are perfect for beginners, so you don't need any previous dance experience. We start with the basics like posture, Namaskar, Tatkar (footwork), hand movements, rhythm and gradually move on to Chakkars, expressions and simple Kathak compositions.
I believe learning should be fun and most importantly stress-free. I teach at your pace, answer all your questions and make sure you feel confident before moving to the next step.
Along with dancing, I'll also share the stories, traditions and cultural beauty behind Kathak, so you don't just learn the steps, you also understand the art.
My classes are open to children, teenagers and adults from anywhere in the world. Whether you're learning for fun, fitness or to connect with Indian culture, I'd be happy to guide you on your Kathak journey!
