About Jana
I am a certified middle school teacher, and I’ve spent years as a school principal. I’ve been a curriculum developer. I also know what it’s like to feel lost. When I was in school, bad policies caused me to lose my confidence, but a great teacher rescued me and inspired me to help kids conquer the math monster. There’s nothing like seeing that smile when a child realizes he really can do it!

Nearly all kids are behind in math, but they don’t have to stay there. I’ve spent years helping kids with “math-phobia” get ahead of their peers and gain confidence. Common core has been a huge obstacle for so many, but common sense can work wonders! All students will begin with a diagnostic test, which is free, for me to assess where we need to begin. I will also coach parents on how to reinforce lessons at home.
