The lessons are given to primary and secondary school students.
Reading, writing, listening and speaking are the four themes of the lessons. Each lesson would focus on one theme and be organized by a topic related students' life. Chinese culture is also an important resource of the learning materials.
Children's need is the base of teaching. The pedagogy of these lessons aims to combine children's experience and the organized knowledge, to cultivate children' positive attitudes towards learning the language.
I have giving Chinese lesson for two holidays, including class teaching and one-to-one tutoring. The number of students I used to teach is about 135 in total.
One of the class achieved a 15% rise in writing grades after my tutoring. I received many letters of thanks from students and parents when the lessons ended.
