About Divyaa
With close to 10 years of a successful IT work experience in corporate field, I switched my professional path to Child Psychology, after sensing my passion for this field, thanks to my 2 kids. My work as a teacher for preschool age kids exposed me to the varied behaviour of kids - depending on the adults in their environment.
I certified and specialized in Positive Discipline - a parenting education program based on Individual Psychology. I started implementing the parenting tools I learnt with my children – at home and at the school. And shared the Positive Discipline tools with the parents at the preschool, as classes. I witnessed positive changes in the kids at the preschool as well as in my own children.
Being equipped with brain based psychological tools, gave me the confidence that my parenting will be sustainable long-term. I understood parenting is a skill, which is to be learnt and not just instinctive nor is it based on how one has been parented themselves.
Each child is unique! And so is each family! Positive Discipline parenting tools and techniques are like a manual for parenting.
There is more to parenting than disciplining or inviting cooperation or just staying afloat daily. The lives of our children are changing every day! Like building a muscle, all life-skills take time, effort, and intention. As we raise children, let’s prepare them to be happy, healthy and successful 25-year-olds!
