My approach to teaching dance is structured, supportive, and goal-oriented. As a professional dancer, I focus on building strong foundations first—rhythm, posture, balance, and body control—before progressing to more complex choreography. I break movements down step-by-step, ensuring Maria and every student fully understands technique before adding speed and performance quality.
A typical lesson begins with a guided warm-up to improve flexibility and prevent injury, followed by technique drills tailored to the student’s level. We then work on choreography, musicality, and stage presence. I also include feedback time so students can refine their movements and gain confidence.
