About Tamara
I'm a philologist and a postgraduate researcher at Lomonosov Moscow State University. I believe that learning a foreign language opens new opportunities and I'm happy to support my students on this exciting journey. As a teacher, I value structure and consistency but at the same time I'm convinced that true progress comes from curiosity and a genuine desire to learn something new.

I work with adult learners of all levels (from complete beginners to advanced speakers). When I was working in the university I taught both students who started the learning process from the Russian alphabet and postgraduate researchers needed to be prepared for the defense of their dissertations in Russian. My lessons are usually based on the communicative approach: grammar and vocabulary are always connected to real-life contexts, it helps students use Russian naturally and confidently. I make each program in accordance with student's individual goals: whether he/she wants to study or work in Russia or read Dostoevsky and Chekhov in the original.
