About Lucas
I started tutoring when I was 18 years old and after that I had the experience of living with Americans, teaching English classes in franchised language schools, teaching business classes in large companies and even teaching Portuguese to Americans.
After all this, and noticing that many people finished their courses but did not have the ability nor felt confident and comfortable enough to speak, I focused on "teaching people" regarding timing and general comprehension (regardless of the difficulty they had) rather than "teaching a course".
With a response better than expected, super-positive feedback and many "success stories" - especially from people who already believed they were not born to speak English - I focused on this style up until now, which is 16 years after having started in this field.

My main focus is to help you learn and not just teach you. I fully understand that the teacher "teaching content" and the "student being able to use the content" are quite distinct things. So I want to help you master the language, and not just share a content.
I respect the rhythm of each person and I am able to re-explain something with patience as many times and in as many ways as necessary, in case you encounter any difficulty in comprehension.
PS: I focus mainly on conversation - which I believe to be the most difficult obstacle for the majority of people while learning another language.

Perfect! Professor excelente. Aula muito didática, ele foca no que realmente você precisa. Corrige os erros, pronúncia e vícios de linguagem de uma maneira em que você realmente consegue fixar. Estou sentindo uma evolução rápida no inglês fazendo aula com o Lucas.

Perfect! Sinceramente, o Prof. Lucas é incrível. Primeiramente pela paciência, atenção e preocupação com o aprendizado inabalável, Depois de anos que estudo inglês, finalmente entendi realmente a diferença entre simple past..past participle..etc.. Ele é muito atencioso com os detalhes, explica 10 vezes a mesma coisa se for necessário, e realmente se preocupa se o assunto ficou claro. Me ajudou muito com a minha pronuncia e hoje sou mais confiante.
