About Ivana
I’m a certified TEFL/ESOL teacher, with 4 years of experience in teaching languages. My students have ranged from 4 years of age to adult, with the secondary school students achieving high grades in state exams following our lessons.
I have taught English in various countries, including Ireland, France, Italy, Spain and Hong Kong, and can therefore be versatile and adapt to various tutoring methods.

I have extensive experience in English tutoring and believe that the skills I have acquired through my TEFL certification (obtained in 2016) are highly beneficial for tutoring, especially in the area of grammar.
Regarding methodology, I try to combine various study techniques in order to ensure that the classes don't get boring. This includes focusing on all areas of the language, such as grammar, writing and vocabulary, as well as cultural aspects of the language. I also provide sets of notes for different areas that the student might struggle in, for example, grammar and topical writing.
For younger students, I try to ensure that these classes are fun, teaching with the aid of PowerPoint presentations, videos, stories and songs.
