About Wesley
I am a committed Trumpet tutor with 9+ years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students succeed. I have successfully taught around 300 High School students, College students, and adults through well-planned lessons that focus on understanding, practice, and confidence building.
My teaching philosophy is that learning should be simple, positive, and student-centred. Every learner has different goals, so I personalise my teaching methods to suit individual needs. I explain concepts in simple English and encourage active participation to make learning enjoyable and effective.
My classes include structured lesson plans, practical exercises, regular revision, and continuous feedback. I help students strengthen their basic skills first before moving to more advanced concepts. This approach allows students to make steady and lasting progress.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of the greatest achievements of my career. Many learners have successfully improved their knowledge, developed confidence, and reached important milestones through dedication and personalised instruction.
I believe a supportive learning environment leads to better results. My goal is to inspire every student to enjoy Trumplin, build strong skills, and develop a lifelong interest in learning while reaching their full potential.

I believe every student can improve their Trumpet skills with the right guidance, practice methods, and encouragement. My teaching methodology includes Communication, Adaptation to Learning Styles, and Real-life examples and case studies to create effective lessons.
I communicate openly with students to understand their learning goals and provide personalised support. I adjust lesson plans according to their progress and preferred learning methods. I use examples from professional trumpet artists, musical performances, and different genres to show how techniques are applied in real situations.
Along with Trumpet, I teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Rhythm Skills, Improvisation, and Performance Techniques. My aim is to help students develop confidence, creativity, discipline, and a lifelong interest in music.
