About Wesley
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 9+ years of experience, teaching high school students, college learners, and adults. I have guided around 300 students, helping them improve step by step and achieve their musical goals. My teaching philosophy is based on clarity, patience, and encouragement.
I focus on teaching fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and sound production. I break down each lesson into simple steps so students can learn without confusion. I also include songs and exercises that match the student’s level to keep them engaged.
One of my key achievements is helping students build confidence and perform in front of others. I aim to create a supportive and positive learning space where students feel comfortable and motivated.

I teach violin with an emphasis on communication, personalised instruction, and practical application of skills. I adapt lessons to each student’s learning style, goals, and pace, ensuring that they understand both technical and expressive elements of playing.
Lessons cover posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone production, phrasing, and musical expression, while also nurturing creativity and interpretation.
I incorporate real-life examples such as learning favourite songs, preparing for performances, and understanding music in everyday contexts to make lessons relatable. Alongside violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to strengthen overall musicianship.
My goal is to create a motivating, structured, and enjoyable learning environment where students gain confidence and develop a lifelong passion for music.
