About Marcus
I've been playing Drums since I was 14 years old & had a desire to pass on my passion for Drumming to others ever since. I’m an incredibly friendly, patient and resourceful tutor who is used to adapting lesson plans accordingly to each student’s requirements.
I pride myself on my students consistently high pass rates, with none lower than a Merit. As a regularly gigging musician, I can offer my students a real-life perspective of a career in the music industry.
As someone who continues to take lessons in order to improve and hold myself to the highest standards, I would like to pass this work ethic to my own students. My overall ambition and the reason I got into teaching is to mould my students into determined & driven individuals!

Having been a certified Yamaha tutor since 2017 & Degree graduate of ACM in 2013, I currently offer one-to-one tuition for aspiring Drummers of all ages, create online tutorial videos and go the extra mile to help you become a master drummer! Lessons available either face to face from my home based music room, or via Zoom at either 30 or 60 minutes per lesson. All ages & abilities welcome, I've experience teaching students from 5 to 65!
