About Oleksandra
I am a graduate (bachelor's and master's degrees) in Oriental Languages and Literatures (including translation), with Chinese as my major. Graduated Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University with honours.
Since 2019, I have been working with students individually and in small groups. In 2023, I became a lecturer in the Department of Chinese Language and Translation at the Faculty of Oriental Languages of my Alma Mater.
In addition to teaching, I'm really into localisation in movies and advertising, along with amateur translations of contemporary Chinese literature. Let's add basic translation skills to my students' list of abilities :)

Починала вивчати китайську разом з 萨沙老师 кілька років тому і дуже рада, що на той час знайома порадила мені саме її. Я люблю коли викладач має план і заняття відбуваються за чіткою схемою, тому що так мені легше запам'ятовувати матеріал, і легше згадати чи знайти щось, коли забувається. Мені не дуже заходить прописувати слова, але все ж вдячна лаоши за наполегливість!! бо зараз вже на рівні hsk4 я зрозуміла що ніякі картки мені не допомогли б тримати стільки слів в голові і могти написати більшість з них, а не лише озвучити.
Окреме дякую за те, що граматика перестала бути моїм ворогом і виявилося, що вона навіть легша ніж в англійській (на мою думку). Зараз я вже займаюся самостійно, 萨沙老师 відпустила мене у вільне плавання і показала, де можна знайти відповіді на всі мої запитання по граматиці чи словам. Але я досі раджу її всім кому можу!!
