About Minseok
My name is Minseok, and I’m from South Korea.
I have been studying in London since 2024.
While studying International Development, I became especially interested in education in developing countries. This led me to want to try teaching something directly to people from different backgrounds, especially non-Koreans.
I was pleasantly surprised to see how many people around me, including at my university, enjoy Korean language and culture. That interest inspired me to start teaching Korean.
Although I am a beginner tutor, I have learnt through many different tutors since childhood—around 12 to 13 tutors per month across various fields such as academics, music, and sports. Because I’ve experienced so many styles of private tutoring, I have a strong understanding of what makes tutoring effective for students.
I’m not extremely outgoing, but I am very responsible and committed.

1. I am a beginner-level Korean tutor currently studying in London. I understand what it feels like to start from zero, so I aim to create a supportive and relaxed learning environment.
2. I help students use Korean confidently for travel in Korea and everyday conversations, so you can express yourself naturally in real-life situations.
3. My lessons also help you enjoy K-pop, K-dramas, and Korean culture in a more fun and meaningful way by understanding the language behind them.
4. You will learn Korean from the very basics, starting with consonants, vowels, and the fundamental structure of the Korean language.
5. There may be simple and light homework to help you review and practice, but it will always be manageable and beginner-friendly.
