Generally my lessons follow the topics that schools follow for subjects. I also listen to the child to see what they have been struggling with in school the most to build confidance. I give worksheets and help explain whilst they work through examples. I believe this is the best way to learn, maths is a pattern that you learn through practice.
I have previously tutored primary school children maths and one student for gsce maths. I have a levels in chemistry, physics and maths and completing a degree in chemical engineering at the university of nottingham. I have also worked as a project supervisor for Tokyo University students where I supported them in public speaking and conducting research.
