About Jack
I am a graduate chemical engineer with a first class degree from the University of Manchester. I achieved A*A*A*A* at A-Level in mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology and so believe I am in an excellent position to offer tuition services in these subjects - particularly maths, chemistry and physics.
I have been tutoring through several tutoring providers over the last couple of years and now have two years experience delivering high quality, one to one tuition. I hope I am able to help you achieve your academic goals.
I have recently began offering university level tuition in some subjects, particularly in thermodynamics and reaction engineering. Please let me know if you would like help in these areas and something can be arranged.

My teaching method is based upon helping you understand the material being studied, rather than simply memorising or learning content. Understanding is vital as this enables you to adapt to different types of questions which you may encounter in exams.
I frequently use past paper or exam style questions in my tutorials as practising questions is the best way to learn in maths and science. I can help identify common misconceptions which will help you to improve your academic performance and achieve the grades you desire.
For university level tutition (offered in engineering related subjects, such as thermodynamics, reaction engineering and utility systems), you must be able to provide me with lecture notes, worksheets and such in advance of the lessons. We will then work through the theory and I can help you understand the more complex material.
