Throughout my degree I have provided assistance to my peers in either helping them to understand topics or breaking down complex theories into more simple terms and then building up from there to further their understanding of the topic. I have also previously tutored at primary school level.

I am offering lessons for GCSE and A level Chemistry, at this level I understand that repetition is the key to success and therefore my method of teaching involves covering a topic and then quizzing on it. This topic quiz will then be repeated at the start of the next lesson and then a recap will be done a few lessons later to check that the student can still remember the topic well. However if during the lessons it becomes apparent that the student prefers or responds better to another teaching method then I will adapt to this so that they can get the most out of my lessons.
