About Shelly
I am a high school chemistry teacher with experience with full face to face classes, individual tutoring, and online lab based chemistry courses. I can build your confidence and describe content in meaningful ways. Chemistry is difficult for many but I pride myself on being a teacher who is understanding and helpful to those who struggle.

I am a chemistry teacher. I love it. I have given lessons to high schoolers and college students (chem 101, chem 102). I have used face to face teaching as well as online formats. I have taught for 20 years and I see the big picture of what chemistry students need to know. I work with students who need help on assignments, need specific topics taught, or those that are missing key concepts. My job as a teacher is to be helpful to what the student needs. I work best with struggling students.
