I teach Chemistry GCSE and A-level.

Master of Natural Sciences (chemistry), Clare College, Cambridge, 1999, 2:1;
A-levels (1994): Maths(A), Further Maths(A), Chemistry(A), Physics(A), Music(A).
- How much do you charge?
I charge £35 per hour.
- Where do you teach?
I usually teach at my home.
- When are you available?
Most commonly I teach on weekday afternoons and evenings, though other times are possible.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach GCSE, AS & A-level.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
My aim is to provide students with as much help as possible when preparing for their exams. This may take the form of:
* Homework
* Past paper questions
* Revision of important topics
* Helping with anything that the student wants to go through
Lessons are student orientated. If someone says that they are having trouble with these homework questions, then we get on with that topic. A lesson may involve going through questions, understanding notes or doing revision.
I can cover most of the current syllabuses including EdExcel, OCR, AQA and Nuffield.
Initially I recommend students bring along all their notes and textbooks. Then we can work out which are the good ones!
I encourage good study skills, revision skills and exam technique, and can set and mark homework if and when required.
