In my Chemistry lessons, we explore the subject from its core foundations, focusing on the principles that govern matter and its behaviour. My approach is gentle and reflective, encouraging students to engage deeply while building confidence in complex ideas. We examine the mathematical underpinnings of chemistry, covering physical chemistry, quantum mechanics, chemical thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics. Each concept is treated as a key to understanding how molecules and reactions behave in real situations. I guide students step by step, helping them approach challenging equations and abstract ideas with clarity and confidence. Lessons are structured to uncover the fundamental laws that govern chemical behaviour, making them meaningful and applicable. I support students in finding their own approach to mastering these theories, enabling them to excel in exams, research, and practical applications. Together, we analyse patterns, interpret data, and connect theoretical concepts to real-world chemical phenomena. My goal is to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a solid conceptual foundation. Through this process, students gain confidence in advanced topics and develop a genuine appreciation for chemistry. By blending careful guidance with exploration, we discover the elegance and logic behind chemical phenomena. I am a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master’s degree in Green Chemistry. I specialise in polymer science and have guided many students through advanced characterisation techniques such as Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). My lessons focus on understanding molecular weight, thermal properties, and crystallinity, while exploring how polymer structure influences material properties. I work with students from materials science, chemical engineering, and polymer chemistry, providing tailored guidance to support their research and academic goals. I combine theoretical knowledge with practical insights, making complex concepts accessible and engaging. Each session emphasises analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation. I help students connect experimental results to molecular behaviour, fostering a deeper understanding of polymers. Many of my students have successfully completed research projects and publications under my mentorship. I create lessons that are structured, flexible, and focused on each student’s learning needs. Studying polymers is not just about techniques—it’s about uncovering the story behind each macromolecule. I take great joy in helping students appreciate the beauty and complexity of chemical structures. Together, we explore, analyse, and understand the fascinating world of macromolecules.
