About Paige
Hi! I'm Paige, a Chemistry Ph.D. student at the University of Utah and a graduate of Indiana University, where I earned my B.S. in Biochemistry. I have over four years of experience working with students through private tutoring, college chemistry labs, and programs for high school students. I love helping students gain confidence and discover that science doesn't have to be intimidating. I know that everyone learns differently, so I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Hi! I'm currently a Chemistry Ph.D. student at the University of Utah and earned my B.S. in Biochemistry from Indiana University. Over the past four years, I've worked as a private tutor, college chemistry teaching assistant, and mentor for high school students, so I've had the opportunity to help students with a wide range of learning styles and goals.
I know chemistry can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make difficult concepts easier to understand and help students build confidence in their abilities. I believe that learning should be interactive, encouraging, and even fun! Rather than focusing on memorization, I help students develop problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of the material.
I work with high school and college students in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and introductory math courses. Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through homework, or just trying to stay ahead in class, I'll tailor our lessons to your individual needs and learning style. My goal is not only to help you improve your grades, but also to help you feel more confident and successful in science.
