About Lena
I'm a chess player for 15 years and one of the leaders of a big German chess club. There I'm also one of the chess teachers and organisators and I've been teaching kids and teenager(approx. 10 students per training), as well as adults(beginner courses), chess every week for over 7 years now.
My team and me attended a lot of tournaments such as the German National Championship and now that I moved to London and miss chess, I would love to help someone learn the game and have a lot of fun!

FUUUN:) For me fun is always the most important thing while having a hobby. Of course I help my students to get better at chess, but fun is always at the top of the list. So my teaching method is to combine the learning of rules, strategies and tips with fun tasks as well as a lot of practice. In my opinion, that is the best method to teach something because the students will actually have interest in the hobby.
I will offer lessons for beginners and those who have a bit of experience- so it doesn't matter if you have had already played chess or if you have never seen a chess board before-I would be happy to help you:) My lessons for children under 14 are not longer than 45min.
