About Annie
I am a friendly and chatty individual, and I hope to make everyone feel at ease when tutoring. I enjoy music, reading, photography and exploring new cafés in my free time, so if that sounds like your interests, I would be very happy to talk about it too! For language learning, being interested in the topic is very important, and so we will identify an area of interest for each lesson and set out a small, measurable and realistic goal of 2-3 things we want to achieve in the lesson to give us an objective. Each lesson can have a different focus on speaking, reading or listening, depending on your needs. We can also start off with a small conversation at the beginning of the lesson and then base the learning of the session on the topics or points we discuss through the introductory conversation. A typical lesson would be around 1 hour long. I have had 5 years of experience as a tutor teaching Mandarin to students of all ages and backgrounds, depending on your needs and making you feel at ease during the lesson so you can tap into your language potential.
