About Tammy

Hello everyone! I’m Tammy, and I’m thrilled to be your Chinese teacher. With five years of experience, I love helping students discover the beauty of the language and culture. My approach focuses on creating a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable to explore and learn.

I strive to make lessons engaging through stories, songs, and real-life scenarios. I’m excited to embark on this journey with you and can’t wait to get to know you all better. Let’s make this a fun and enriching experience together!

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach emphasizes personalization and interactivity. I believe that each student has a unique learning style, so I adjust my teaching strategies based on their individual needs. I typically use an inquiry-based teaching method, encouraging critical thinking through questions and discussions rather than just delivering information.

# Typical Lesson Plan
1. **Introduction (5 minutes)**: Start with a brief review or discussion to help students recall previous material.
2. **New Knowledge Presentation (15 minutes)**: Introduce new concepts using various resources (such as charts, videos, and real-life examples).
3. **Interactive Practice (20 minutes)**: Engage students in group activities or individual exercises to apply what they have learned.
4. **Summary and Feedback (10 minutes)**: Recap key points, address any questions, and provide personalized feedback.

# What Sets Me Apart
What distinguishes me from other tutors is my focus on building strong relationships with students, creating an interesting and supportive learning environment. I regularly communicate with students to understand their interests and challenges, allowing me to develop more effective learning plans.

# Target Audience
My lessons are suitable for students at various degree levels, including middle school and college, particularly for those who wish to enhance Chinese. I also welcome students who need extra help or those looking to enhance their skills in specific areas.

Through this approach, I aim to help each student find joy in learning and achieve their academic goals.
