I have experience teaching in both the state and private sector and have been tutoring 11+ and KS2 Maths and English for nearly twenty years.

My pupils gain confidence and exam skills through positive learning in small study groups.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
My main areas of tuition are: the 11+ examination, which includes Maths, English, VR and NVR; and KS2 maths and English, including catch up and SATS.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a B.Sc. with honours from the University of Nottingham and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of East Anglia.
- How much do you charge?
Your child would be tutored in a small group, usually two or three and my fee is £20 per child. I also tutor one to one.
- Where do you teach?
I tutor children in my own home in Worsley, Manchester. Most of my pupils come to me from the Manchester, Salford, Trafford and Bolton areas.
- When are you available?
Sessions are on week days after school in the early evening.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
The age range of my pupils is between 7 - 11 years old: school years 3 -6.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I prepare pupils for 11+ entrance exams and KS2 SATS.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I have been tutoring children of all abilities for nearly twenty years. Some children have needed specific help to catch up in certain areas of school work and others have had my help with their preparation for 11+ exams and SATS. My aim is to identify and address any weaknesses and boost the confidence of my pupils with lessons that are fun and at the same time challenging. I have an excellent 11+ pass rate.
