Leanne has consistently taught myself and my kids over the last 3+ plus years. Her quiet, calm and patient demeanor has facilitated a pleasant atmosphere for learning.

Leanne is the best and most qualified music teachers I've had, and I've had a few! She taught me the alto sax during a time when my confidence was very low and I learnt so much about how to express myself through breath and music. Leanne has to be one of the most patient and persevering people that I know, always moving at her students' pace and at the same time motivating and gently encouraging you to progress. My daughter had lessons with Leanne for quite a few years. She also had lessons with other tutors but Leanne is by far the best teacher my daughter had. Leanne is so calm, polite, always encouraging, patient and professional. I would highly recommend Leanne to anybody who wants to learn to play and /or pass saxophone/clarinet exams. Leanne is an affable, patient teacher and a good communicator. She always encourages her pupils, always boosts their confidence, always 'listens' to them, and always answers any of their questions. I have watched her several times in action, being a pianist myself.

Leanne is a kind and patient tutor who clearly cares about her students. She is great with young beginners and my son looks forward to his lesson with her each week. I would highly recommend her.

Leanne has a detailed knowledge and understanding of musical genres, techniques and learning styles.  Her outstanding skill is in hooking into the interests of her pupils and to instil in them a love of music and the joy of learning and playing pieces, as she did with my daughter. Leanne’s enthusiasm is infectious and her ability to encourage her students to go beyond their own expectations is impressive. She was very good at assessing Leah’s abilities and interests and adjusting the lessons accordingly. Leanne was further able to relate to and understand the needs of my daughter with special needs and work towards encouraging her and setting achievable goals whilst stretching her at a comfortable level. She was adept and able to put even the most nervous player at ease and to relax into playing and to make it fun. My daughter’s musical abilities blossomed under Leanne’s guidance. Leanne is a very gifted teacher.
