About Prashant
Hello! I'm a dedicated tutor for Class 1 to 5 students, passionate about helping young learners build strong foundations in every subject. Before this, I spent over 20 years as a medical transcriptionist — a profession demanding precision, discipline, and zero room for error. I bring that same care and attention to detail into teaching, making sure each child truly understands a concept rather than just memorizing it.
I'm also in the process of setting up a model learning center for children, and I'm currently gaining hands-on teaching experience as part of that journey. This means I'm deeply invested in your child's learning — not just as a tutor, but as someone building a long-term commitment to quality education for young children. About the Class: My classes are designed for students in Class 1 to 5, covering all subjects — Maths, English, EVS, Hindi, and General Science — with a strong focus on building solid foundations rather than rushing through the syllabus.
My approach: Years of working in a field that demanded absolute accuracy (medical transcription) taught me that small details matter and that careful, unhurried attention gets better results than speed. I bring that same mindset into teaching: I make sure a child truly understands a concept before moving to the next one, rather than just completing chapters.
Teaching technique: I use simple, everyday examples to explain new ideas, encourage students to ask questions freely, and revisit tricky topics as many times as needed. I rely on plenty of practice, oral revision, and small quizzes to check real understanding — not just memorization.
What makes my classes different: I keep a close eye on each child's individual pace and gaps, adjusting my teaching style rather than expecting the child to adjust to a fixed method. Parents also get periodic updates on progress, so there's clarity on how the child is doing.
