About India
I am a professional ballerina who trained in the United States. I started my career in New York City as a soloist for the Gelsey Kirkland Ballet. Wanting to further improve with the goal of dancing in Europe, I moved to Paris where I studied with Jacqueline Fynnaert, a legendary teacher and coach of floor barre. As a result I danced with the Bordeaux Ballet, Ballet du Capitole, Ballet de Metz, toured with Les Ballets de France ... and I continue to dance throughout Europe and teach this method of barre au sol which truly helped me improve my dancing.

It is precise and complete work to improve your posture, sculpt your body and acquire the grace of a ballerina. I teach Boris Kniaseff's floor bar method. A Russian emigrant who has become a highly respected professor at the Paris Opera. Inspired by Martha Graham's floor exercises, Kniaseff developed a method to help dancers improve their postures, alignment, flexibility, and strength. A very simple method without Pilates or gyrotonic machines, the method has become a huge success with all the stars of the Paris opera, Brigitte Bardot, Rudolf Nureyev and Leslie Caron and Zizi Jeanmaire (to name a few). I love to train on the floor and give lessons to students of all ages and experience levels because the floor bar democratizes classical dance. The result and that you feel good about yourself. You restore confidence in yourself, and your body, any morphology. The exercises were done in such a way that students with limited mobility can benefit enormously and participate in this simple and genius system. Between exercises, we do stretching or abdominal exercises in function and tailor-made to your body's needs.
