About Phoebe
I am currently undertaking my Masters of Music (Voice) at The Royal Academy of Music. I hold a double degree in Arts (Philosophy and English) and Music Performance, from the University of Melbourne, where I graduated with First Class Honours. I have a passion for teaching and the power of musical education to inspire students of all ages.

Prior to commencing lessons, a 30 minute introductory session is very useful for establishing the student's singing level, voice type and goals (such as singing for leisure, taking A Level music or preparing for conservatoire auditions). Typical singing lessons will last 50 minutes, with a 10 - 15 minute warm-up before moving on to repertoire practice. I highly encourage students to record their lessons, so that they are able to listen back during their weekly practice and hear the changes in their voice during the lesson. My warm-ups will include exercises from Alexander Technique, having undertaken AT at the Royal Academy of Music. I teach classical voice (art song, lieder, mélodie and opera) as well as musical theatre. I am confident teaching students of all ages, as I have extensive experience teaching both junior and senior school students, as well as adults.
