About Manuel
Graduating with an MMus from the Australian National Academy of Music provided the technical discipline I now apply to teaching. Rhythm and timing form the bedrock of my instruction, alongside scales and arpeggios that ensure your hands operate with total efficiency.
Having spent 8 years performing and instructing, I emphasize tuning by ear and the subtle mechanics of vibrato to add warmth to your sound. You will explore shifting positions and music theory as we dissect classical repertoire to improve your ear training and bowing techniques like spiccato and staccato. My method remains rooted in a steady, methodical build that prioritizes your long-term comfort.
