About Johanna
Teaching allows me to share the discipline required for mastery. 8 years of experience have refined my ability to guide students through complex classical repertoire.
My Master of Music in Vocal Studies gives me a unique perspective on phrasing and melodic shape. I emphasize rhythm, timing, and essential orchestral playing techniques.
We cover double stops, proper posture, and hold mechanics. My training includes ear training, music theory, and preparing for grade exams like ABRSM and Trinity. I also focus on spiccato and staccato bowing to build your technical foundation.
