About Ivan
Singing practice starts with a steady flow of breathing control and head voice refinement. Sound clarity matters most.
We focus on ABRSM and Trinity grades 1 through Diploma. My 13 years of experience informs how I guide your genre styling for pop or musical theatre. Performance recordings are reviewed together each month to measure your progress.
Rhythm and phrasing are checked constantly. Vocal health and care remain the priority during every session.
You learn to control vibrato through specific exercises. I draw on my Royal Northern College of Music degree to keep the atmosphere productive. Discovering the joy of a perfect phrase is the best part.

Microphone technique, vocal health, and belting mechanics form the foundation of my teaching style. Sometimes I find it difficult to admit that I actually enjoy technical warm-ups as much as the performance itself. My background includes an MMus Voice from the Royal Northern College of Music.
I have performed as a classical vocalist across the UK for 11 years. Working with teens, professionals, and absolute beginners gives me a chance to apply my ear-sharp approach. Helping you find your voice is my primary goal.
